MINFOPRA joins the rest of the world to celebrate World AIDS Day.
Three days of activities have been consecrated to the celebration of the 7th edition of the Cameroonian month and 35th edition of the World Aids day at the Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform.
Themed, “Rock the ribbon”, this year, 01st December 2022 has been set to commemorate the fight against HIV/AIDS. While responding to the global and national campaign against the deadly HIV/AIDS disease, the Ministry of the Public Service and Admnistrative Reform, led by its dynamic Head of department Joseph LE commenced activities on the 30th of November 2022. These activities, some of which have past and others are currently going on will run to the 02nd of December 2022. They include:
- Educative and sensitization talks given by a team of experts from the Chantal Biya International Reference Centre for research on the prevention and management of HIV/AIDS
- Sport activities at the front yard of the main Public service building
- Free HIV/ AIDs as well as Covid-19 screening and taking of parameters, height, temperature.
- Last but not least, the visit of an orphanage of children living with HIV/AIDS.
This is not the first time MINFOPRA is organizing activities to commemorate the fight against HIV/AIDS. Every year, MINFOPRA sets aside a budget for these activities and the objective of every year is yo support the global and national agenda against HIV/AIDS as much as possible.
